In 2018, EJ constructed a 71,300 sf fabrication facility that will also serve as their northeastern hub for logistics and distribution. EJ, based in Michigan, is the leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of access solutions for water, sewer, drainage, telecommunications and utility networks worldwide.EJ had outgrown their CNY facility and did not have the space to grow where they were. EJ was looking for a site close to their existing facility so they could retain their employees.EJ found a 15-acre site within 15 minutes of their existing facility. The site is in the Oswego County Industrial Park in the Town of Schroeppel. The industrial park runs adjacent to SR 481, providing direct access to the interstate system. The $9.1 million project employs 91. The facility will serve as EJ’s northeastern hub for logistics and distribution.
